I have just returned from Florence, Italy where I attended the Biennale at the Fortezza da Basso where Eight hundred artists participated. At the end of the exhibition, I was awarded by the Biennale a “Gold Medal of Lorenzo il Magnifico” and a certificate to honor my career and work.
On September 4th, 2009 I was invited to attend the 4th Annual “100% Pure Florida” Exhibition that was held at the Fifth Avenue Art Gallery in Melbourne, Florida. My colored sculpture, “Madre Gambe Incrociate”, won best in show out of 99 artists and 277 pieces of art. I was awarded a solo exhibition for the month of June 2010.
My sculpture, “Invictus”, was accepted and won the Honorary Nathaniel Kaz cash award at the 67th Annual Audubon
Exhibition, which was held at the Salmagundi Club in New York, New York. The sculpture was on display through the month of October 2009.
Experts on four continents have described my sculptures as elegant, fluid, graceful, tender, rhythmic, kinetic. All true. Most importantly, my works are known to transmute into bronze, steel and stone the vibrant spirit of the human form. Dancing, reaching, leaping, ever moving, they all but breathe
